Our Story

Left Corner Capital Advisors is a national advisory firm focused on the success of lower middle market and commercial clientele; what we call "Main Street America".  Our founder, Michael Hughes, started this company after 17 years in commercial banking where he worked hand in hand with 100's of clients coaching on financial readiness, growth strategy, loan structures, and profitability.   What he found is many companies just need an objective, knowledgeable and steady-handed partner to catapult themselves to the next level.  With this in mind, we've formed strategic partnerships in areas of commercial loan origination, loan consulting, growth mindset, & business acquisition diligence.

Founder

Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes started Left Corner Capital Advisors after 17 years in commercial banking where he became an SBA Expert for a Top 10 financial institution covering 4 states and 100's of commercial bankers.  Michael has field underwritten BILLIONS of dollars in loan requests and financed Hundreds-of-Millions in loans comprised of SBA 7A, SBA 504, and conventional debt.  In doing so, Michael has coached hundreds of clients in:

Jordan Thomas 

Jordan Thomas has spent the last 20 years as a corporate trainer, insurance salesman, manager, and business broker.  Jordan recently launched a new eldercare insurance business after ending a term as a shipping & logistics consultant to a large government contractor.  Even with his new start-up, Jordan somehow still finds time to do what he loves - talking shop with entrepreneurs.
